Algebra and Software Programming - what are the chances a person can make a living as a programmer if that person is not good at algebra?

Zero.
Might be able to fake it if they have a good enough development environment.
It's possible, the mental skills overlap is not that strong.
Flash(tm)!
They would probably end up being the person who hires other people to program.

Anarchists planned to kidnap delegates government

A year ago, the Ramsey County sheriff's office began looking closely at a group called the Republican National Convention Welcoming Committee.

What it found, according to an 18-page search warrant application and affidavit, led to weekend raids on two Minneapolis homes and a temporary St. Paul office for the self-described anarchist group.

According to the document, investigation learned:

The self-described anarchist group — whose main goal was to "crash" the Republican National Convention," according to its Web site — traveled to or communicated with affinity groups in 67 cities to recruit members and raise money.

Group members discussed the possibility of kidnapping delegates, blockading bridges, using liquid sprayers filled with urine or chemicals on police and throwing marbles to trip police and their horses.

At an "action camp" held from July 31 to Aug. 3 in Lake Geneva, Minn., one member talked of concealing inside giant puppets "materials" that could be used on the street. Others discussed the need for Molotov cocktails, paint, caltrops (devices used to puncture tires), bricks and lockboxes for protesters to lock themselves together.

Erik Oseland, one of the six group members arrested here, produced a video called "Video Map of the St. Paul Points of Interest." It included such major companies as Travelers Insurance and Qwest, hotels such as the Embassy Suites and the Crowne Plaza. Also included: the Pioneer Press building.

As many of you know, locla law enforcement conducted a series of raids against residences where known anarchists were staying. These raids resulted in a series of arrests and the confiscation of a lot of materials used to disrupt the convention as well as possibly injure/kill delegates. I think that many of you ought there ought to read the entire article and then forward it on to anyone who thinks that the raids were a "police over-reaction". Norah is probably experiencing an orgasm. Anarchists or leftists? I wonder how many of them went straight from the DNC convention to the RNC convention. Why are the authorities in Minn. letting these nuts get so close to the convention hall? Is it because the Gov and mayor are all Democrats? (eye roll) Denver had them blocks away from Obama’s convention????? Why are you watching MSNBC anyway? GHEEEEEZ! There are both factions there.... wearing black face masks and such.... yelling loudly enough that you cannot hear Norah nor her gusets.... hilarious. Supressing PMSNBC??? Friendly fire incident alert! Blue on blue. ROFL The dumbasses don’t even realize MSNBC IS their network news channel! WHAT THE?!? This has been going on for 20 straight minutes now.... she just cut to a commercial.... wonder if they’ll disperse the crowd now.... (Since it’s MSNBC, they’re probably paying these anarchists to cause as much mayhem as possible....) The media is trying to get footage of the anti-Bush-McCain-Palin fervor that is sweeping the nation. They’re not even carrying those sorts of posters — they’re mainly carrying the “9/11 was an inside job” posters.... Quick, pMSNBC pop smoke, put out the orange panels ... radio call: “check fire check fire, friendlies in the impact area.” knock it off, knock it off You’re hitting your own side. She was all set to skewer Kay Bailey you berks!
