On Wednesday 27 October 2004 for the Americas (Thursday 28 October during the early morning hours in Europe and Africa), the full Moon will pass through the Earth's shadow, producing a total lunar eclipse for skywatchers everywhere. The Netherlands and Belgium Astronet, in cooperation with Dutch and Belgian public observatories, organizes a live webcast of the event.
