Microsoft's new AntiSpyware Beta is now advising users to remove Firefox on their computers. Once your scanning has been done, if Firefox is found on your computer it provides the user with a "high" threat level and advising removal due to of lack of security updates."

mreberto: I read this very same thing off slashdot. I'm running firefox 1.01 and MS antispyware and firefox has never been detected. Only realvnc as a false positive.

scilec: I'm running Firefox 1.0.1 and I've also been using MS AntiSpyware ever since it was released. At no time did it ever flag Firefox as spyware. Given that the link leads to an Imageshack file, I think somebody with Photoshop had a little too much time on their hands.
