User Poll
Algebra and Software Programming - what are the chances a person can make a living as a programmer if that person is not good at algebra?

Zero.
Might be able to fake it if they have a good enough development environment.
It's possible, the mental skills overlap is not that strong.
Flash(tm)!
They would probably end up being the person who hires other people to program.

A wild gallery of New York nightlife hotspots and what went on inside. Featuring everyone from Lou Reed to Jackie O. to Warhol to Divine to random crazy naked drugged-up professional party people.

Fascinating and oh so...

Not safe for work.

here's a ten for the memory
Posted by Psychomike on Jun 15, 2005 06:46pm

I had a student who had graduated and moved to N.Y., worked at Studio 54, so when I was in town I was always on the list. I was even taken downstairs so I could look up and through the dance floor to see which girls were wearing underwear. Not many.

I had one day in which I met Ken Anger for lunch at Elaine's, saw Faye Dunaway having lunch as well, went to Radio City Music Hall and then on to dinner, a show and 54. It remains the one day that sums up New York in the 70's for me.
