On a serious note @ Oct 27, 2005 07:28am scilec Given how often images are photoshopped these days, I'd like to see legislation passed that requires a small caption on any published image that is retouched in any way. I doubt that this will ever happen though. Reply

Celebrities don't want to present the impression that they have blemishes just like regular people. Photographers dodged and burned with bits of paper and magnifying glasses to darken or lighten parts of their photos to make it more artistically appealing. The great out doors is made even greater by using highly saturated films like fuji velvia etc.     Reply
