My posting policies.

I want to clarify my general principles of posting on LF...

I don't call people names.

I don't 1-vote links based on political disagreement. If I 1-vote you, I will tell you why in comments. [EXAMPLE]

I will not personally attack another user. I may call your argument or assertion idiotic, but I will not call you an idiot.

I try to keep political rhetoric general rather than specific. [EXAMPLE: I may say, "The Left wants to weaken the military." I will not say, "budfields wants to weaken the military."]

I will engage you in an argument seriously if you can do likewise.

I do not dominate LF with political postings.
In the first 6 months of this year, I posted a total of 9 links under 'government' [link].

glitch p-udding, in contrast, posted a total of 267 links, in the same time period, under 'government' [link].

If you descend into name-calling [EXAMPLE], I will belittle you [EXAMPLE]

I do not hold a grudge or take things personally. This is the internet, not real life. If you've called me names, yelled at me, 1-voted me, or attacked me personally, I am ready to begin anew every day.

I am the most self-deprecating user I know. I do not take myself seriously.

I laugh and make jokes about everything, including politics.

I am not bothered or offended if you put me in your killfile. I have no one in mine.

people would have gotten all bent out of shape had a filed those posts in "just add bacon."

Bud Tugly: Hahaha!
