In 1983 the Serge Modular company produced a demo cassette featuring many artists using the Serge Modular synthesizer. I'm posting this music here as a public/historical service. Each track is a few megs, the whole tape is 100Mb.

the serge
the Serge has four panels. The first three are basically a Blue Funstation with some liberties taken, and the fourth is a mix of audio & control things.

panel 1: NTO, PCO x 2, RNG, VCM, MIX2, VCFX, UAP
panel 2: RS, SSG, DTG, PROC, NCOM, DTG, DSG, PHA
panel 3: TKB
panel 4: PCO, EQ, ACPR x 2, BUFF, CMIX, QTKB, COMP, BLOG, WAD
serge
clu: I put in many hours on a serge back in college. Those things are great! I used to just hit record and play around on them. I still have all those recordings on cds and on backups. My favorite hardware synth of all time.
skypilot: your real name would not happen to be drew or gary would it??
clu: Nope. This was at CalArts, just in case that information is relevant.
fabulon7: My favourite I ever got to actually play with was the Arp. That thing was magnificent.
clu: I borrowed an Arp 2600 for a few months. It was really cool. But it ain't no Serge.
