Enterprising hackers have ported the Bochs x86 emulator to the PSP which means, among other things, that now it's possible to run Linux and Windows on it. In his write-up, PSP hacker Matan Gillon says that Windows 95 actually runs quite well, though using the mouse (via the joystick) is still a bit clumsy.

DIYP2P - Do It Yourself P2P
DIYP2P is a FREE platform for creating your own P2P program. Anyone who knows HTML can create a file sharing program connected to the popular G1/G2 networks. Since DIYP2P is using GnucDNA as the network core, your application will have all the features of a solid P2P program, already packed with files and sharing users. Basically you can think of DIYP2P as an Open Source platform where you don't need to be a programmer to use it.
>> All you need to do is to think of a Cool Name, Killer Logo and a Slick User Interface.
Heres the faq and the tutorial.
GIMPshop for Windows

The GIMP is the most popular free alternative to Photoshop - available for alot of platforms. Photoshop users have big problems switching because they have a hard time locating Photoshop's features in The GIMP.
Basically it is just a hack of the current GIMP-sourcecode changing the menustructure, naming and key-bindings to be more like Photoshop. Scott did this for Max OS X, but there are already packages for several linux flavours.
US scientists have designed a bionic eye to allow blind people to see again.

DSLinux is a project to get a version of linux working on the Nintendo DS.
So far a few people have been able to actualy run their own code on the DS using a passthough device but Linux is still a ways off.
OUR GOAL? - Getting Linux OS operating on the PSP. Any relevant concepts, contributions, submittals, updates, advancements, tests-failures, plug-ins, Successes! that can move us one step closer to acheivement is absolutely vital. I would like to see the OS for the PSP happen right here at the PSP-Linux Project.
As far as I can figure out, its NOT part of the firmware...But this can be made into a general purpose browser if you create a portal-like site to jumps to links. When you select "Go to home page" it returns you to the portal site (index.html). So thats an easy way out.
Yes you can use input (we googled stuff), when you enter a textbox and press X the PSP pops up the Keyboard API (remember there's alot of API to be taken advantage of with the PSP). After that its as simple as any other input on the PSP.
Browsing is simple enough, up and down to move from link to link. D-Pad only though. Also there is no cursor anywhere, and no title-bars. If there is no link in the nearest vicinity, the PSP just scrolls the page (awesome). Entering links is X, refresh page is []. Again entering text into boxes pops up the API.
