If you have a ton of time and love reading, this site is great for you.
My Favorite was Winesburg, Ohio, by Sherwood Anderson. It is a story about a strange small town and the quirky people that inhabit it. Damn those paper pills.
A Chapter Book for Children of All Ages
Balto. The great Alaskan sled dog has been dead since 1933. But he still stands larger-than-life on Dogdom's Mount Olympus, where the world's great canines are immortalized...
Yet few people know Balto's true story. Only one small part has been told, and even it has been distorted.
Over the decades, several Balto books have been written. There's even a Balto animated movie, but it, too, is largely fiction... Like the books, the movie leaves off where this book begins -- and tells the best part of the story.
Balto was only three years old when he helped carry serum across Alaska from Nenana to Nome to save the town's children from diphtheria. As leader of the last dog team in the life-saving relay race, he became an overnight sensation...
But so much more happened after that. Balto lived for eight more years -- experiencing the happy surprises and unexpected sadnesses found in every long life, animal or human.

Cat Drummer
No children were harmed in the making of this film. Well, that I know of.
Yang style schools, lineage diagram, theory, posture illustrations, and learn online. In German and English.
In the short film category last night at the Oscars, Chris Landreth’s Ryan was the big winner.
Ryan is a biography short of Canadian animator Ryan Larkin, (himself Oscar nominated for Walking), now reduced to panhandling by drug addiction. In Ryan the interviewees are rendered in 3D ruins, a clever, emotionally resonant effect.
The National Film Board of Canada has made the entire short film available for viewing.
Why am I hosting these tsunami videos?
Answer: Seeing how a lot of sites can't keep up with the bandwidth requirements of hosting them and recognising the importance of distributing them to educate the public about the enormity of this disaster and increase fundraising I decided to help distribute them.

I thought this was going to be some distasteful person's idea of humor, but it appears to be the genuine article.

Photographers working for the Farm Security Administration Historical Section (later transferred to the Office of War Information) were encouraged to document continuity and change in many aspects of life in America during the years the unit was in operation. They were particularly encouraged to photograph billboards and signs as one indicator of such developments. Although no documentation has been found to indicate that photographers were explicitly encouraged to photograph racial discrimination signs, the collection includes a significant number of this type of image, which is rarely found in other Prints and Photographs Division collections.

Grilled California Avocado B-L-T Burgers with Caramelized Chipotle Onions
To commemorate the 100th birthday of the hamburger in America, I was inspired to create this new recipe by combining two all-time favorites: burgers and BLT sandwiches. Since America is truly a melting pot of diverse races and cultures, the regional influences of our country are evident in the way we prepare our burgers. My burger recipe is a tribute to the creative and trend-setting cooks across the country who have been instrumental in reviving a culinary sense of pride in Regional American Cooking. By combining fresh ingredients in a new and creative manner, I have developed an incredible new burger with layers of flavor throughout. This burger WILL ROCK YOUR WORLD!!!
